Setup guides

- Open Outlook and go to Tools → Account Settings.
- Under the E-mail tab, click New and choose Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP, then Next.
- Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types → Next → Internet E-mail → Next.
- Enter your name, full email address, and choose IMAP for the account type.
- Incoming mail server: popmail.synergybroadband.com. Outgoing mail server (SMTP): popmail.synergybroadband.com.
- Enter your username and password, click More Settings → Outgoing Server, enable SMTP authentication if prompted.
- On the Advanced tab, use IMAP port 993 with SSL (or 143 with TLS per your client), and SMTP port 465 with SSL or 587 with STARTTLS as supported.
- Click OK, then Next → Finish to test the account.
- Open Outlook and go to Tools → E-mail Accounts.
- Choose Add a new e-mail account → Next, then select IMAP → Next.
- Enter your display name, email address, username, and password.
- Set both incoming and outgoing server to popmail.synergybroadband.com.
- Click More Settings (or Internet E-mail Settings) and enable outgoing server authentication.
- On the Advanced tab, set secure ports (IMAP 993 / SMTP 465 or 587) to match your security settings.
- Complete the wizard and send a test message.
- Open Outlook Express (or Outlook) and open Tools → Accounts → Mail → Add → Mail.
- Enter your display name and email address when prompted.
- For POP/IMAP server, enter popmail.synergybroadband.com for both incoming and outgoing if the wizard asks for both.
- Choose IMAP as the server type if the wizard offers POP vs IMAP.
- Enter your account name and password; finish the wizard.
- Open the account properties, enable “My server requires authentication” for SMTP, and set SSL/TLS ports if available.
- Apply changes and restart the mail client if messages do not sync.
- Open Thunderbird and choose File → New → Existing Mail Account (or set up from the welcome screen).
- Enter your name, email address, and password, then click Configure manually.
- Set Incoming (IMAP) server hostname to popmail.synergybroadband.com; port 993, SSL/TLS, normal password.
- Set Outgoing (SMTP) hostname to popmail.synergybroadband.com; port 465 (SSL/TLS) or 587 (STARTTLS) as supported.
- Confirm authentication method is normal password for both incoming and outgoing.
- Click Done; accept any certificate prompts only if they match your provider.
- Send a test email to verify SMTP.
- Open Eudora and open Tools → Options → Getting Started (or Personality / Accounts depending on version).
- Enter your return address (email) and display name.
- Set Mail Server (Incoming) to popmail.synergybroadband.com and ensure the personality uses IMAP if supported by your Eudora build.
- Set SMTP server (Outgoing) to popmail.synergybroadband.com and enable SMTP authentication / “Allow authentication”.
- Set secure ports if your version supports SSL/TLS for IMAP and SMTP.
- Save settings and check mail to verify the connection.
